OGP Global Summit 2015 took place in Mexico

On October 28-29th, the Open Government Partnership Global Summit Mexico took place in Mexico City, Mexico; While on October 27th, the OGP Civil Society Day was held within the above-mentioned OGP Summit.

IDFI at the OGP Civil Society Day in Mexico

On October 27th, the OGP Civil Society Day took place within the Open Government Partnership Global Summit Mexico 2015. The OGP Civil Society Day was traditionally held the day before the Summit to provide an informal opportunity for civil society actors involved in the OGP to connect and interact.

Annual OGP Global Summit Mexico 2015

On October 28-29th, the Open Government Partnership Global Summit Mexico 2015 is scheduled to take place in Mexico City, Mexico.
The summit is expected to gather around 1,500 participants - including representatives from civil society organizations, businesses and governments. Among the attendees will be representatives of the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI): Director - Giorgi Kldiashvili, Chairman - Levan Avalishvili and Project Coordinator - David Maisuradze.

The Inter-Factional Group of the Parliament of Georgia fights to obtain the OGP Award

On 12th of February, 2015, the Parliament of Georgia expressed readiness to join the Open Government Partnership (OGP). In particular, with the command of the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Inter-Factional Working Group of Parliament was composed by the members of Parliament from majority and minority factions. The Inter-Factional Group of Parliament of Georgia aims to back implementation of the principles of Open Parliament in Georgia, the integration of the Parliament in Open Government Partnership (OGP) and the creation and commitment of Action Plan of Open Parliament of Georgia.
