Fines imposed by Patrol Police in 2011-2013

Georgian Citizens detained by Russian Occupational Armed Forces

IDFI has received official information from the Ministry of Interior of Georgia, about the Georgian citizens detained by Occupational Army of the Russian Federation for crossing the occupation line. The number of registered crime has increased by 16.6% in 2013

On April 12, 2013 IDFI (Institute for Development of Freedom of Information) has addressed the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia with public information request. IDFI has requested statistical data of the crime registered in Georgia in January, February and March, 2013, according to months and articles of law. Statistics of Public Information Release Before and After Parliamentary Elections

During 9 months of the project Public Information Database-www.opendata.ge IDFI has addressed 224 public authorities with the total of 2441 requests, 1525 of which have been replied completely. Out of 2441 requests sent by the Institute 294 have been left unanswered, 194 have been answered incompletely, there were 26 cases of refusal and in the rest 402 cases the public authorities stated that they either did not have the requested information, or had not carried out the specific action.

Different Kinds of Public Information Received from the Tbilisi State University

IDFI has received public information from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The information is now accessible on our web-site. The University provided incomplete information in response to the request for the bonuses of the officials and staff and the balance of the 2012 budget, and has refused the request for the information about funded events and list of employees. The Response of the Chancellery of the Government of Georgia to the Recommendations of the Civil Society

IDFI On March 22nd IDFI received a letter dated March 19th from the Chancellery of the Government of Georgia which contained a response to the recommendations of the civil society, which were sent to the Office of the Prime Minister from the CSOs on February 5th. Attached to the letter were the comments from those governmental institutions that are to be tasked with specific obligations in the frameworks of the Open Government Partnership action plan according to these recommendations.
