environment in Georgia.
On May 23, 2022, an online event was held as part of "DRIVE: Digital Research and Impact for Vulnerable E-citizens", a joint project of the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) and the e-Governance Academy (eGA).

The Global Data Barometer (GDB) is an international study that examines the importance and benefits of data for the public good, and is based on the Open Data Barometer methodology.
In May, 2022, the results of the first edition of Global Data Barometer (GDB), examining the importance and benefits of data for the public good, and being based on the Open Data Barometer methodology, were released. The GDB evaluates and scores 108 countries according to a unified methodology, based on various modules and indicators.
The Data for Development Network (D4D.net) and ILDA have launched the results of the First Edition of the Global Data Barometer (GDB) at a virtual event on May 11th, 2022.

On February 10, 2022, the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Business and Technology University (BTU).
February 8 has been declared the Safer Internet Day (SID) in the online safety calendar for the 19th year in succession. As a result, state agencies, civil society organizations, and various stakeholders have a greater degree to unite across the globe for the initiative "Together for a better internet.”
