IDFI will present the access to information rating among the public institutions and will name the most and the least accountable public institutions.
According to the latest news in media, the budget of the Parliament of Georgia for the next fiscal year will be 54,695,000 GEL which exceeds the current amount with 2 million GEL. As the First Deputy Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Nodar Ebanoidze stated, added amount will be spent on increasing the basic salary and renewal of the vehicles.
On April 16th, 2014 IDFI requested information from the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance about the cases of bribery, misuse of power and misappropriation or embezzlement for 2004-2014.
On May 14 Ministry of Justice hosted the meeting with the representatives of the non-governmental organizations. Participants discussed the commitments taken within the frames of the 2014-15 action plan; NGOs presented their recommendations regarding some of the commitments.

On May 8-9 Dublin hosted the OGP regional meeting, attended by the Open Government Partnership member states. European regional meeting is a platform for the member states to share their achievements in the process of elaborating the action plans, challenges and the future plans. Regional meeting was attended by the representatives of government, civil and business sector from various states.
Today Dublin hosts the last day of the OGP regional meeting.
