On March 25th at the South Caucasus Regional Office of the Heinrich Boell Foundation the IDFI unveiled to the public collection of archival documents, related to the Events of March 5-9, 1956 occurred in Georgia. The project was financed by the Embassy of Switzerland in Georgia and supported by the South Caucasus Regional Office of the Heinrich Boell Foundation. Project was carried out by the IDFI expert team in cooperation with the Archive Administration of the MIA of Georgia.

It is interesting to mention that Institute published excerpts from the official periodic media of the Soviet Georgia issued in March 1956. These newspapers were selected in the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia. We would like to emphasize, that in the Soviet Georgian printed media we were not able to find a mere mention of the events developing in Tbilisi and other cities of Georgia in March 1956;
