An Inter-Factional Group and the Open Parliament Georgia Working Group were created within the framework of the project “Supporting Parliament of Georgia Involvement in Open Government Partnership Initiative”. The Working Group is composed of representatives of CSOs and international organizations. Within the framework of the project IDFI supports activities of Inter-Factional Group and the Open Parliament Georgia Working Group. At the same time, IDFI is coordinator of the Open Parliament Georgia Working Group.
The goal of the Inter-Factional Group and the Open Parliament Georgia Working Group is to support development of open parliament and civic participation in the activities of the legislative branch of Georgia. Namely, the Working Group works on such issues as preparation of Open Parliament Georgia Action Plan, facilitating public consultations to finalize Open Parliament Georgia Action Plan, launching public awareness campaign etc.
