Since its foundation, the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) has been actively working on strengthening the accountability and openness of commercial and state organizations, including, in terms of fighting against corruption.
From October 20 to October 22, 2021, representatives of the Polish National Memory Institute (IPN), Deputy Head of the Department of Archeology Tomasz Borkowski, and archaeologist Krzysztof Mikolajczyk visited Batumi at the invitation of the Bishop of the Diocese of Batumi and Lazeti. While there, they inspected the graves of the repressed people from the years 1937-1938. The visit of Polish specialists was organized by the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information.
On October 18, the Certification Program in Fighting Corruption started for the Bachelor’s Degree students of the 2021-2022 academic year. Within a year, 22 students will take courses in Good Governance and Corruption and Public Policy and Corruption.

Although generally the executive branches of the Partnership member states are particularly active towards OGP implementation, Georgian government's participation has backslidden over the past few years and at present has almost stalled.
On September 30, 2021, the award ceremony of the participants of the Educational Certification Program in Fighting Corruption for the years of 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 was held.
