IDFI expresses condolences for fallen and injured Georgian servicemen participating in Afghanistan Peace Mission. In view of the Mourning Day declared today, we would like to share once again the information received in February 2013 about the Georgian soldiers injured in Afghanistan. Sadly, the statistical data about the killed and injured in 2013 will substantially increase due to recent tragic events.

On February 5, 2013 IDFI received complete response to request of public information, according to which the number of members of the Georgian armed forces injured during participation in Afghanistan Peace Mission is as follows:

2010 – 23 servicemen

2011 – 62 servicemen

2012 – 45 servicemen

2013 – 4 servicemen
