Edgar Brutyan

Edgar Brutyan joined the IDFI team as an analyst in October 2022.

Edgar holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from Tbilisi Free University and has participated in several international study programs to further broaden his expertise.

In 2021, Edgar was part of the Study of the U.S. Institute (SUSI) for Student Leaders on Civic Engagement (SUSI) at Bard College. He also participated in the SAYP program in 2022, where he honed his understanding of digital governance at Linköping University in Sweden.

During the 2022-23 academic year, Edgar pursued further studies in Chinese at Xiamen University in China. He was awarded a scholarship by the Chinese government for his outstanding academic achievements.

Edgar is proficient in Armenian, Russian, English, and Chinese.
