News | Research | Rule of Law and Human Rights | Analysis 25 March 2021

The study „Transparency of the Judiciary in Georgia” focuses on the main gaps in the proactive transparency of the judiciary. Non-compliance with the Constitutional Court’s decision on the access to judicial acts remains a serious challenge. Incomplete publication of public information by the courts and the High Council of Georgia is additionally problematic. Existing gaps in terms of the processing and publishing statistics are also noteworthy.

Based on identified gaps and challenges, the study provides specific recommendations, consideration of which is essential for improving the transparency and openness of the Judiciary.
