The following paper deals with the concept and practice of the openness of government meetings. The main question that needs to be answered is the following: “Should the meetings of the Government of Georgia be open as a rule?”
To answer this question, first of all, it is considered appropriate to use comparative analysis of the legal practices of Georgia and the United States. The mentioned practice generally reflects the attitude of the lawmakers and, accordingly, of the nation towards openness of the government meetings.
