The Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) and the company SECURE are launching a series of trainings titled Security Today. The project is aimed at discussing the issues related to information security, raising awareness on the topic and promoting the proactive use of security measures with people who require it the most.

Trainings will be held separately for three distinct groups: 1. Non-governmental organizations (NGO); 2. Media; and 3. Students and other interested persons, with training programs being adjusted based on their professional activities.

The first training for NGOs will be held on May 5 and 6 at the Multimedia Center and will cover the following topics: general overview of security issues, internet security, personal data and their protection, social engineering, anonymity, confidentiality, data archiving and surveillance.

Registration deadline for participants is May 3, 2016. Participants will be awarded certificates upon completion of the training.
