September 20, 14.00 pm, - “Institute for Development of Freedom of Information” will hold a press conference at the office of the “Open Society-Georgia Foundation”, 10 Chovelidze Street. The results of the first stage of the project “Public Information Database” – www.opendata.ge which is supported by the “Open Society-Georgia Foundation” will be presented at the press-conference. The steps planned for implementing the second stage of the project will be also discussed.
Within the project, starting from April 2011, the public information has been actively requested, analyzed and published on the web-site www.opendata.ge.
The press conference will cover the analysis of the results from the first stage of the project (Presentation of the Information Bulletin №3 of the IDFI), statistical analysis and visualization of the income of the officials.
Furthermore, the press conference will present the current rating and results of the monitoring of the official web-sites of the public authorities according to the level of electronic-transparency in the framework of the project “Monitoring of the Information (Internet) Resources of the Public Authorities of Georgia,” also supported by the “Open society Georgia Foundation”.
