Poster Contest Results - SDGs and Georgia
The winner of Poster contest 10 year old – Anastasia Kvashilava and 10 of the best submitted works. The winning poster visualizes Responsible Consumption and Production – Goal 12 of the Sustainable Development Goals.
“My work depicts a girl who sits on a contaminated planet, and looks at a plant, in which she sees a solution. This garbage is the waste, with which humans pollute the environment. With this work, I want to tell people that one day the Earth might no longer be able to tolerate any more polyethylene, plastic, and non-recycled waste. We have to recycle waste, not throw it away. Otherwise, we won’t be able to save the already weakened ecosystem. Each of us can contribute to avoiding an ecological disaster. We just need to live our everyday lives so that our food, water, and products are less and less harmful to Earth.” - Anastasia Kvashilava.
The contest was held by IDFI in cooperation with UNDP Georgia and with the financial support from the Government of Sweden.
