IDFI Gets Highest 5-star Transparency Rating from Transparify

In August 2015 the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) received the highest ranking of transparency by Transparify, a project funded by the Think Tank Fund of the Open Society Foundations and managed by CRRC. The project which started in January 2014 provides the first-ever global rating of the financial transparency of major think tanks worldwide.

IDFI gave the Digital Signal Receiver to Sophio Muradova as a gift

On August 15th, 2015 the Director of IDFI Giorgi Kldiashvili and the Expert in Media and Telecomunications Law Ucha Seturi visited Sophio Muradova in Gori. The representatives of IDFI gave Ms. Muradov Digital Signal Receiver “Set-top-box” with a receiving antenna as a present and have installed it.

On July 22-23, 2015, in South Africa second annual elections took place at the Open Government Partnership Steering Committee meeting. Based on the voting results, new members of the Steering Committee were named: Indonesia, Chile and Romania.
