IDFI Organized the Training for the Participants of the Educational Certification Program in Fighting Corruption

On December 19, 2021 the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) organized the training for the participants of the Educational Certification Program in Fighting Corruption on „Governance of Anti-Corruption Policy in Private Sector “. The training was led by the Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Anti-money Laundering and Compliance of the Bank of Georgia – Ms. Tamar Goderdzishvili.

On December 16, 2021, the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) with the financial support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) held the 3rd International Conference: "Openness of the State Archives and Memory Studies". International Anti-Corruption Day: IDFI’s Anti-Corruption Activities and Existing Challenges

International Anti-Corruption Day is celebrated on December 9 every year to raise public awareness of corruption. This day is crucial for governmental institutions and non-governmental organizations, as well as for the whole society, to be reminded that joint cooperation is essential for the prevention of corruption, which in turn is fundamental to achieve progress in terms of Sustainable Development Goals’ (SDG) implementation.
