Memorandum of Understanding within the project Investigations and Trials of perpetrators of the Great Terror in Georgia

On 25th of May, the memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information, LEPL Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (University of Virginia, USA) the History Department of University of Toronto (Canada) and the Department of Eastern European Studies at Ruhr University of Bochum (Germany).

 

The undersigned parties agreed to cooperate on a joint research project entitled “Investigations and Trials of perpetrators of the Great Terror in Georgia during the period 1938-1941 and 1954-1964". LELP Archive will provide the parties with access to all relevant archival records and appropriate working conditions.
