4 days lecturing course that was addressing Georgian Market Economy has finished. The lecturer of the course was Giorgi Khishtovani, Head of Research of IDFI.

150 applicants were interested in course, and 60 of them were selected and awarded with certificates in the end of the course.

Varieties of Capitalism in the Post-Soviet Transition Countries; Socialist and Capitalist Systems according to Kornai Model.

Lecture2
Georgian Market Economy in 2003-2012 Years according to Kornai Model (Political System and Ideology, Dominant Form of Private Ownership, Main Mechanisms of Coordination).

Lecture3
Georgian Market System in 2003-2012 Years according to Kornai Model (Main Behavioral Phenomena of Private Actors and Typical Economic Phenomena); Winners and Losers of Georgian Market Economy in the years of 2003-2012.

Lecture4
Case Study: Healthcare Reform in Georgia, 2006-2012; main Challenges of “Georgia 2020” with considering the shortcomings of Georgian System of Market Economy for the years of 2003-2012.

Series of lecturing courses were offered to students within the scopes of the project Strategic Plan Georgia 2020 – Strengthening Public Involvement (ZigB) - that is implemented by the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information with the collaboration of the Bremen University and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilis State University with financial assistance of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
