Cooperation between Institute of National Remembrance - National Remembrance Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation (IPN) and Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI)

On October 28th, 2013 the Institute of National Remembrance - Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation (IPN) sent official letter to Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) regarding cooperation in work on assembling a list of victims of the communist regime, exchange of bibliographic information, determining the burial sites of the victims and archive researches on totalitarian studies and Stalinism.

The delegation of IPN Archival Department visited Tbilisi in October 11, 2013. Meeting was organized by the Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia who is a long time partner organization of the IDFI. At the meeting with IDFI Giorgi Kldiashvili, the director of the organization has presented the work that IDFI conducts in Soviet and totalitarian studies, revision of Stalinis in Georgia and its support in building civic society in Georgia and has suggested further cooperation between two institutions.
