The Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) has published the results of its monitoring of proactive online discloser of information by Georgian public institutions in 2019.

Results of Periodic Technical Inspections of Vehicles - Visualization

Vehicle exhaust is the main problem in terms of air pollution. Total number of cars, which were subject to technical inspection through this period is 232, 470. Ministry of Internal Affairs is unable to isolate data on municipal transport in technical inspection records. Car owners paid over GEL 16 million for primary technical inspection in the thirteen months of 2018 and February of 2019.

Regional Governor State Vehicles and Fuel Expenses: 2017-2018

Analysis of vehicles owned by regional governor administrations and related fuel consumption points to challenges related to rational and efficient use of resources. The high overall number of vehicles owned by governor administrations, prevalence of expensive luxury models, and high fuel expenses demonstrate a necessity for optimization and stricter oversight mechanisms.

Communications Strategy & Action Plan of Open Governance Permanent Parliamentary Council: 2019-2020

Preparation of this strategy and the action plan is one of the commitments taken under the third Open Parliament Action Plan (2018-2019). It aims to define communication of the Council and other Members of the Parliament with the society in 2019-2020. The Council, with active participation from the Department of Public Relations and Information, is responsible for the implementation of the Strategy and the Action Plan.
