IDFI Conducted Intensive Practical-simulation Training for Media Representatives

During December 7-10, 2023, with the support of the MATRA program of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Georgia, IDFI conducted practical-simulation training on the right to public information for investigative journalists and media representatives.

All Constitutional Prerequisites for Pardoning Nika Gvaramia are Present

Tbilisi City Court sentenced Nika Gvaramia to imprisonment on May 16, 2022. On November 2, 2022, the Tbilisi Court of Appeals upheld the decision regarding Nika Gvaramia’s imprisonment.

IDFI Responds to the Fact that Telara Gelantia was not Admitted to the Government's Session for the Second Time

On 26th of September, 2022, Telara Gelantia was not allowed to attend Government’s session once again, although, according to the journalist, on 12th of September she received a verbal promise from the Government’s representative that they would ensure her admission to the next session.
