The main purpose of audience research is to provide assistance and support to advertisers and broadcasters to exactly determine a category and number of viewers/listeners of certain TV/radio broadcaster or program. The most realistic and reliable ratings have a direct impact on strength and survival of regional and low-income media.
TV audience measurement is critical in all countries and there can be hardly found a country where all market players are satisfied with rating measurement results; though in Georgia this issue is not only related to competition between advertising business and media actors but is directly linked to media control issues.
On April 14, 2014 Radisson Blu Iveria hosted the Inter-Agency Anti-corruption Coordination Council of Georgia (agenda). The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Justice of Georgia Thea Tsulukiani.

On April 3 National Parliamentary Library of Georgia hosted the workshop organized by IDFI in cooperation of with the Librarians Association of Georgia for the libraries from the regions of Georgia and Tbilisi. The Open Government Partnership (OGP) Regional Meeting for Europe will take place inDublinon 8-9 May 2014. This event is open to official delegates from European countries currently participating or considering future participation in the OGP, representatives of civil society and non-governmental organisations, representatives of international, regional and multilateral organisations, the business community, and the academic community. This event is also open to media.
On March 6, 2014 IDFI addressed the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia and the Prosecutors Office of Georgia with the request of the statistical information about the various corruption-related crimes. On March 14, 2014 IDFI obtained statistical data from the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia about the financial crimes of 2004-2014.
